Degree Attestation from UAE Embassy and UAE MOFA
If you plan to work, study, or settle in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), getting your degree attested by the UAE Embassy and UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) is a mandatory legal requirement. This process validates your educational qualification issued in Pakistan and makes it officially accepted by UAE government departments, employers, universities, and licensing authorities.
As of 7th July 2024, the UAE has launched a New Digital Attestation System in Pakistan. The traditional method of pasting physical stamps or stickers on your original degree has been replaced with a digitally verified attestation report and a secure PDF copy. This digital attestation is fully accepted across all institutions in the UAE and speeds up the entire process with added security and traceability.
The process begins by submitting your HEC-attested degree or diploma to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan (MOFA Pakistan) for authentication. Once that step is complete, your document is forwarded to the UAE Embassy in Islamabad. Under the new system, the embassy no longer applies a physical sticker. Instead, they issue a digital attestation, which is then processed and finalized by the UAE MOFA. Upon completion, you receive a digitally attested PDF version of your degree, along with an official verification report.
This new attestation system applies to all types of educational documents including:
-
Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD Degrees
-
Diplomas (Technical & Vocational)
-
Intermediate (FA/FSc) and Matric (SSC) Certificates
With the digital process now live, Degree Attestation from UAE Embassy and UAE MOFA has become faster, safer, and more efficient than ever before.
