Birth Certificate and B-Form Attestation from Saudi Embassy

Birth Certificate Attestation from Saudi Embassy

If you are applying for a family visa, adding a child to your Iqama, or registering your child’s details in Saudi Arabia, then Birth Certificate Attestation from the Saudi Embassy is a mandatory step. This process ensures that the child’s birth certificate issued in Pakistan is genuine and legally recognized by Saudi authorities.

The Birth Certificate must be issued by NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) in either English or bilingual format (Urdu + English) for embassy acceptance. However, before the birth certificate can be submitted to the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, it must go through the required attestation stages.

Important Requirement:

If the child was born to married parents, the parents’ Marriage Certificate must also be attested by the Saudi Embassy before the birth certificate is eligible for attestation. This is to verify the legal relationship between the parents as per Saudi regulations.

Attestation Process:

  1. The NADRA-issued Birth Certificate must be signed and stamped by the issuing Union Council or authorized registrar, if applicable.

  2. It must then be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan (MOFA Pakistan).

  3. The parents’ Marriage Certificate must already be attested by the Saudi Embassy.

  4. Finally, the Birth Certificate is submitted to the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad for attestation.

Once attested, the birth certificate can be used in Saudi Arabia for dependent visa applications, Iqama issuance for children, school admission, and medical registration.
